Oversoldered holes

Hello
I am just working on the installtion of the 2nd Extruder; works well so far until…
Until i faced a very uncommon problem…

As I wanted to plugin the Drivermodule into the Sockets on the Board, i felt a resistant… I wonder what this could be… took a closer look and recognised an oversoldered hole in the right socket…

I took the caps off an was shocked:

Can I remove this solderdrop with my solder without loosing warranty?
Well I give it a try…

Bad luck… But I do not blame anybody… Shit happens…

Hi sorry the inconvenience,

But yes you can try removing the solder with some desolder wick.

This wil not void the warranty. If you can’t repair it please post a ticket for exchanging your board @ support.velleman.eu

Hello Support
Man thanks for your feedback! Great to hear that you would help me when I could not solve it on my own…
But I did!

Desoldered, Black border placed, Module placed… works! Uff Yess…

The Module does not fit 100% into the Slot, I have a little gap… but I can deal with it
