That error is due to the extruder reading to hot or to cold.
Check the temp in the software.
If it’s reading 0C you have an open (broken wire, therm 1 unplugged or the thermistor is broken)
If it reading over 600C you have a short in the wiring going to the thermistor.
If you measure the resistance to therm 1 (unplugged) check the wire side you should see around 100K ohms at room temp.
Hi, if your using repetier V1.0.6 & sliced with Slic3r, try Cura (or the other way round).
I drew a 150mm square 0.35mm high & 2mm wide as a test tonight. The Gcode was correct but it would not print, it shifted layers. Sliced in Cura, feed rate was 1800 as opposed to 2100 in slic3r and it printed fine. The interesting bit is that on five attempts it printed the first two perimeters ok then shifted on each of the next three, yet the speed was the same on all perimeters.
Interestingly, turn it through 45 degrees & use your current silcer & I bet it prints fine. There is something I haven’t got my head round yet about speed when printing inline with an axis.
But I would sometimes like to have a response from Velleman.
Because you would say, they have more than 25,000 3D printers sold but a reaction forget it.
And I’m afraid it’s just another Arduino board is defective, and that would be the 3rd board are what goes in here,
