Nozzle hitting printed object

Hello,

I am having difficulty adjusting the build platform in my K8400. I followed the steps in the manual, and tried printing. The first few layers were going fine, but during the following layers the nozzle started hitting the printed object. See image for example. I am talking about the triangle shaped skretch.

Hopefully somebody can tell me what is going wrong.

Looks like your overextruding.

It is not the pile of PLA on the front. It is about the diagonal thing starting top right on the object and going to the bottom left. Or isnt that what you mean?

I measured the distance between the metal plate on the printhead and the printbed, and on all 4 corners it was between 49.98 and 50.08mm, so that isnt te problem. I think i am gonna experiment tomorrow, and see what the results are.

For my information, how can i make the printer stop over extruding?

Also lower the temperature to 190° for PLA and 220° for ABS (again can vary with brand and color).

Ok, will try that. Do i need to do that on the printer or in the software on my pc? I don’t know all the options on the system yet.

But thank you! I will post the results here, for others who encounter the same problem.
