I have a 3mm sheet of Paxolin (paper phenolic) under the heater PCB and glass on top.
This stiffens everything up as well as providing a useful amount of insulation.
3mm glass with a sheet of BuildTak on top, thats my best solution for TPE,ABS,PLA and T-glase, and with UHU glue Nylon too stick very well on BuildTak
I made it easy: bought some 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) at the local chemical depot, some dest. water and made a 70ish % solution. Now I squirt it before every print to my original “printboard” surface to remove ANY contaminants. A microfibre cloth is a must ofcourse! PLA sticks everytime, havent tried with ABS yet. (2spooky4me with the standard 100W PSU).
