hello,
i have a problem with the communicatoin beteen pc and printer.
the red end the green led are on.
i use K8200 repetier-host 0.95F
when i connect the software de connectbuton in the software truns to green
when i try to move an ax i become an error
: Seriele communicatie fout:System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventArgs
i have treid an other pc another kabel reset the board nothing works.
is the board broken ???

thank you for your sugestions.
1 i becom a new entery as i plug in the USB cable
2 com 5 unon my computer
3 ok is on 25000 bauds
4 set “RESET ON CONNNECT” is disbled
the IC above the power connection gets hot.
futher no reaction of the printer.

Hi geer,
please read carefully: raby wrote '3. is the Baud rate set to 250000 bauds? that is 250 Thousand, not 25 Thousand as you replied…

If the board is getting hot you have a short.
Check the wiring for the bed and extruder heater and thermistor.
From your description it sounds like you are talking about the 4 volt regulator.
If this is true you have a short on one of the thermistors.

hello,
the baud rate is set to 250000 .
i have measured the temp sensors on the connector they are both around 106 Kohm
the heating is 7.5 and 6.2 ohm .
the component thats getting hot is direct above the power connection,and has the code 7805ABD2T RBXC09 G on it.

hi,
i have checked also the wireing of the motors they have al the same resistance.
i cant fins a short.
i connect the usb to my pc en connect the software.
i turn on the power.
when i try to turn on the haeting i becom the serial communication error.

Try unplugging all of the motors, thermistors and end stop
Put power on the board and check to see if it’s heating up.
If not then plug one connector in at time and check it for heating.

hi wrong way,
when i unplug al the connector and switch the power on the commponent on the board above the power connection heats up same as wiht the connectors on.
