No display on LCD

Hi,

I have just completed putting the kit together but turned on and nothing. Check over all looks ok but noticed that I’m getting 4.25v instead of the 3.3 expected?
Obviously down to an error I’ve made - best course of action?

John

Are you getting 4.25V from the output of VR1 (LM317LZ) ?

Vr1 is also presenting 4.25v…

Have you checked these resistors:
R8 = 680 ohms
R13 = 1k1

Check also the VR1.

R8 = 680 ohms
R13 = 1k2… (Checked the data sheet for the LM317LZ and this combination should output 3.45v.
Checked the lm317 = 6.25 v I ( new batteries) 4.6v out. Calculator shows output should be 3.45…
Pins on SK7 show (top row) 4.5, 0, 0, 0, 4.5, 0, 4.5, 0, 0
Bottom row 0, 4.5, 0, 0, 4.5, 4.5, 0, 4.5, 0.01(?)
Test pin 2.6v

In a working unit there seems to be following voltages:
Pins on SK7 top row 3.3, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3.3, 0, 0.4
