I got the K8055, and started programming - I got my vb.net app to do a good binary to # transition for the Digital Outputs, and can generate some local “light shows” by running through a pattern.
So… I decided to see what I could now hook the Digital Outputs to… Can I use these like an open/close switch to turn something on/off? What would the wiring look like? I assumed that I would go from, say port 1 to one side of the switch, and from the other to ground, turn it on, and it makes a contact - but maybe I am doing something wrong as that doesn’t seem to be working.

so, to mimic a button press, I would have to supply power, and then use a relay, the board controls the relay, the relay activates or deactivates the momentary contact of a button push?
