My experiences with PCSGU250 and PcLab2000LT 1.10

Hello Velleman team!

Thank you very much for your great PCSGU250 and your PcLab2000LT 1.10 application. I use them daily. Thank you also for your driver for Windows 98 SE.

I think, I’ve found a small malfunction in the display of the function generator: If you switch from the transient recorder to another mode and then change the amplitude of the function generator with the slider (“track bar”), the frequency display changes from “mHz” and “kHz” to “Hz”.

I’m using the “Save/Recall Last Oscilloscope Settings”. When I exit PcLab2000LT with 10 Vpp Amplitude and then start PcLab2000LT again, the output amplitude is still 10 Vpp, but the slider (“track bar”) is in the middle at 5 Vpp. Another issue is, that the trigger position of the oscilloscope is not restored.

In the “Big Screen” the Time/Div does not fit at 0.2 µs/Div and 0.1 µs/Div. The displayed value must be multiplied by 2. Also the trigger position does not fit at 0.2 µs/Div and 0.1 µs/Div.

When I start PcLab2000LT under Windows 98 SE from time to time an error occurs: “Access violation at address 004E0DDE in module ‘PCLAB2000LT.EXE’. Read of address FFFFFFFF.” This happens rarely.

Thank you for your great support, you are doing in this forum!

Greetings,

Dietmar

Thank you for the feedback.
These issues will be fixed in the next releases of the PcLab2000LT.
The Windows 98 SE issue may be not resolved anyhow.

Now the PCLab2000LT is updated to version 1.11.
Here is the link to download the software: velleman.eu/downloads/files/ … _setup.zip
Following modifications are made:
Bode plotter frequency setting bug fixed.
Big screen time bug at 0.1us/div and 0.2us/div fixed.
“Save/Recall Last Oscilloscope Settings” fixed and expanded.

Please uninstall the previous version before new install.

All other issues (except the Windows 98 SE) are now fixed.
