As you can see on my picture this screw on the Z-axes is not accessible with a normal tool. Instead it is a little accessible with a rounded-head tool, as you can see within the picture.
But this could be better. Just make a larger support. This seems to be another design fault.
What if I want to take the Z-axes away? Can I do it? No… I have to fiddle around with some strange design drawbacks.
I had the same problem… i think the sequence in the assembly manual is wrong: you first have to install the top and after this you can install the motor with the threaded rod.
There is a also a more severe problem: the Z axis microswitch and the screw which should trigger the microswitch are not aligned, so the screw misses the microswitch laterally by a few millimeters.
