Mounting E3D-v5 (or v6) without 3d printed parts?

Hey! Extruder broke for me (tightened too much), so I need a new. Thinking about either E3D-v5 or v6, is there a way to mount without 3d printed parts? Any info is appreciated.

I found this: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=14659&hilit=e3d

I been thinking about why people don’t just use a plate and drill some holes?

For just mounting the hotend as an exchange that is absolutely fine.
The effort going into parts like this :http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:548827
is more to get better filament guidance and stabler prints.

Ah, thank you. Awesome!

Do you think it would work for the E3D-v5 as well?

If you meant this : thingiverse.com/thing:548827
I think it should abolutely work.
The mounting side is identical between V5 and V6 (groove mount).
If you wnt to use it, please note it is made for 3mm extruders, not for 1.75mm!
But the design files are included, so you could easily make it fit for 1.75mm, if needed.
