MK179 start up

Hello I just bought a MK 179 but it doesn’t work properly.
Power supply is ok
Led is flashing quickly
If I press SW1 at start up the relay move
If I show a card nothing happen?
The Coil is well connected
The resistors R9 and 10 seems to be 220K

Can you send me some informations, part of schematic for the input circuit badges in order to test the connections on the pcb ?
Thank you in anticipation
Joel

Most likely an assembly problem.
Sorry, this forum does not allow picture uploads
If you can provide LINKS (e.g. by using a free online picture base) to HI-RES and SHARP pics of your assembly (both solder- and component side)
then we can take a look and provide some feedback.

I bought a VM179 (assembled version of the MK179) and although it does works with the card supplied and other compatible badges in “Low security mode” I have the same issue with the LED. It does flash quickly in standby mode (No card detected). The voltage across the relays goes to around 3 volts when the LED flash. I don’t have the component layout and as the resistor are already soldered it is difficult to check if there are the right one (the component identification been under the component).

It is normal that the led flashes weakly when the unit is idle, this is an ‘alive’-indication.
Is there a problem?

No, as long as you say it’s “normal” ! thanks.
