I just completed building MK172 with my grandaughter, I had to fix a few pads that lifted and move the power plug to the proper side of the board but she did very well over all. My question is about the sensitivity of the unit, I can blow lightly at the mic and the lights light up as expected but holding it up to a speaker of reasonable volume does not light the lights. Adjusting the sensitivity control all of the way causes the inside row of lights to stay lit, but holding it to a speaker still will not light more lights and blowing lightly on the mic will make the other lights come on. Does my unit have a problem? Any tips on troubleshooting would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck
Sensitivity is quite good, if the unit is correctly built, powered and adjusted.
