Mk120 URGENT help needed

Hi all. I am after some urgent help please as this is needed working by the weekend

All soldered together transmitter works fine (bright or light in camera)

The receiver however is constant alarming. All solder joints have been triple checked and resoldered. The alarm responds to a tv remote (flashes led and blips buzzer) also when the transmitter is turned on and off the receiver led flashes off then back on so it is seeing the signal ok

The track did come away in a couple of spots so these have been jumpered to the next contact point with wire. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated. All caps and diodes etc are in the correct place with correct polarity. Only thing I can think of that I haven’t tried is turning the sensor around as both legs were the same length. However surely it just wouldn’t work and wouldn’t sense the tv remote if it was incorrectly polarised.

I have added a switch to silence the buzzer but looking at the circuit diagram this shouldn’t affect anything.

Please help as we need this for this weekend to trap a dog that has been missing for over 8 months

Here is a link to photos and a video of switching behaviour. Please excuse the state of the board my 40w iron (recommended) just doesn’t seem to melt solder very well. Also socket mod has been done just in case and socket has been attached to wires so it will fit in the case. If anyone in the uk has a fully working model built I could buy and they could get it to me by wed I would be interested.

The extra wires coming from the buzzer output will go to a relay circuit to activate a 12v solenoid

One of the most common mistakes made on this kit are the caps.
The transmitter C1 and C2 should be 1n5 (152)
The receiver C1 and C2 47nf (473)

Unfortunately these are correct. I will continue to play with it however I have bought an industrial sensor with built in relay now which should work for what I need. Thanks
