Hi there, i’m fairly new to electronics, however i put your MK111 kit together without to much bother. However it doesn’t appear to be working correctly i.e the LED stays on solidly regardless of where I move the potentiomitors to.
Compnents seems placed OK but it seems like some pads aren’t properly soldered.
Try to cover the whole pad with solder.

Sorry, we are not familiar with the pinout of a slide projector connector. You might want to Google for it.
