Mk106, step 10 issue

I am currently doing this electronics project for school. I have come to step 10 on the metronome project and I am stumped. The diagram shows little black wires coming out of (or attached to) the loudspeaker unit. I have looked through my kit and have not found any such wires.

Do I un-solder the solder on the loudspeaker (is the wire inside the speaker), or should I find some speaker wire?

There is no extra wire supplied.
Just use the excess wire you’ve clipped from e.g. resistors.
Take care when soldering the speaker, it is very fragile and easily damaged when heated too long.
