MK102 Kit examples for model railroad grade crossing

Hello, I just completed an MK 102 kit, the kit works great and took less than an hour to complete. (I’ve used other Velleman kits in the past). I am trying to determine how to adapt this kit for a railroad grade crossing signal? Is there a way to move the LEDs and make them work with leads for example for the crossing lights and conceal the circuit board? Any info or pictures appreciated, James

It is not a problem to put the leds in a remote location.
You can solder leads between the leds and the board.
Mind the polarity.
It will work with any type of red/yellow/green led.

Thanks I’ll give it a try!
