MK101 help

I recently assembled a MK101 sweetheart kit, but it does not work.

I no i have the polarity in the right spot on the everything but i do not know about the resistors

Do the Resistors have a certain way orientation for polarity?
Also i think that i this might have something to do it it

when i solder the wires to the back if the soldered wire solder touch in the back will that effect it

If not what else could be wrong

Resistors do not have a polarity.
Check polarity of all leds.
Check solderings: make sure they do not tough eachother, make sure you did not forget any solderings, check for bad solderings, etc…
Check PCB pads and tracks, due to excess heat, they can be damaged or interrupted.
