I finally completed my single channel infrared receiver, but I am facing the following problem.
is works about 60 % of the time, and on pulse mode, the length of the pulse varies. Every 3 or 4 times I press the button on the remote, it even does’t give a pulse but the input relais just stays on
What can cause this, and what can I do about it

What is the exact kit reference? MK6713 does not exist. K6713?
What transmitter are you using?
What power supply are you using?
Distance between transmitter-receiver?
Is there lighting with electronic ballasts in the room?

this kit is with it’s own supply, so 230V
I use the 2 channel remote from velleman, that works fine with my other kit the 2 channel receiver, the MK161. this one funtions every time. I tried every distance between 50 mm and 2 m, but it always shows the same problems.
there is normal light in the roon, and even during daytime it reacts the same

The K6713 kit has been obsoleted in 2005.
The MK161 is equipped with a better IR receiver, however, the K6713 kit should give satisfactory results aswell.
At this time, we have no experience with this problem.
