Mk 160 positioning the switch

dear velleman mk160 users,
I want to use the mk160 in the on/off mode for 30 sec. The first 3 switches must be in position 010 and switch 4 to be put on 0
But the switch mentiones only the sign on. Not the signs 0 and 1.
My question is: where does on stands for: 0 (zero) or 1?
Perhaps a stupid question, but I don’t understand it.

other question:
is it ok when I glue the sensor on the display of the telephone and then paint the display completely black to close the outside light of?

!!I found out the positioning of the switch!!:
For who wants to know: for the firdt 3 switches: position on from the switch means 1, and off means zero.
Seems to be a bit logic perhaps but is not clear.
For switch 4, on the print is written: 0 (zero) is on of mode and 1 (one) is pulse mode.
Thats wrong. It has to be the opposite!

Please change the scheme on the print mr Velleman.
But the whole unit is working!!!

No problem to stick the LDR to the display and paint the remaining parts black.
