i recently built a mk 151 clock and like the earlier post, mine also is running well slow, even when the cap is set to fastest setting (the drawing on this adjustment is not too clear)
any comments appreciated.

it was losing about a minute a day.
i have to confess i had added a seperate display wth blue leds,
looks great but it appears the additional capacitance was swamping the trim cap,so i have removed the 4.7 p paralell cap
should be ok now.

We’d recommend to run the kit from an AC source, that way you will avoid these problems…
