Missing Probe from the HPS140i Box

Hi,

After reading many positive reviews, I bought this scope from Maplin Electronics whilst on offer. It’s boxed as the HPS140[color=#FF0000]i[/color] which of course should include the probe. However, it doesn’t.

The reason I’m making the enquiry on the Velleman forum, is that the box was sealed with cellophane!

Do I need the Velleman probe to work best with the device or will any 3rd party one do?

Both products have the same box marked “HPS140i”. The difference between the two is a sticker on the back reading “probe included”.

Maplin only sells the HPS140, without probes.
