hellow,

recently i’ve bought the vm167 interface card from velleman and i was wondering what the maximum input current is for the analog inputs and digital inputs.

for example. if i create the following circuit for analog inputs, would it work? or will there be dammage?

+5V

100ohm

|                              |
pt100                       AI1 (30k)
|                              |
|                              |
gnd----------------------

do i have to calculate the current via current diviation formula? ( Iai1 = I100ohm * ( Rai1/(Rai1+Rpt100))? or am i totaly wrong?
