whats the meaning of x10, i know it lowers the signal input but if a scope has a max voltage of 100v input and says 200v max in x10 mode, if i wanted to measure mains voltage of 120v would i have to be in x10
or it doesnt matter because 120 is more than 100v input regardless of x10 or x1
You definately need to switch it to ‘x10’-mode if you want to measure the mains, otherwise you will damage the input section.
