I bought and built my 3d printer last week, when it was finally finished and i tried to connect it to my computer, i couldn’t find the printer! I have done everything step by step and downloaded repetier and the FTDI software but nothing happens!
the two red and green LED are shining when the USB is on but that’s all the action i got. when i plugged it into the power, at first several lights started flashing and then everything turned off, then i detached the motor drivers and reattached them which fixed the problem of the power. but i still cannot see my printer, and my control board is getting quite hot when connected to electricity
I use a Macbook pro btw
