Hi All
I have managed to over tighten a nut with an isolating washer on it that has disintegrated. I have rung a few shops but without success. Could anyone suggest something I could use as a replacement. Would a fibre washer be ok?
Thanks
Eddie

Could you show us a picture or the reference of the piece?
The fibre washer would be a suitable replacement, but without the shoulder part there is a risk of the bolt touching the side of the hole. But if you use the fibre washer opposite another isolating washer in the same hole, the other washer’s shoulder will ensure the bolt is centered. Shouldn’t be a problem.
