Lubrication

The manual says that the axis need lubrication.
What about the blowers ?

The nozzle axial blower has to be small and of low weight, and rotate at a high speed to it´s job.
Is this blower made with ball-bearing (long lasting) or any short lived other type of bearing ?

The bottom fan is intended to mainly cool what ?
Is it not 3 sizes too small ?
A larger size with slower speed does last many times longer before making high noise from it´s bearing. What type of bearing has it ?

Already after some 6 hours of use both the bottom cage and nozzle squirrel-blower does vibrate, making a lot of “rrrrr”-noise. If these are knocked upon, the noise disappeares and the speed advances considerably…

How often shall the existing blowers bearing be lubricated ?

Closedhousing bearings are normaly lifetime lubricated

I’m wondering what type of lubrication is appropriate?

thick oil, thin oil, grease? What about the plastic on metal ildugur bearings?

To my experiance chainsaw oil works good on the XY guides and Z-axis. copper bushings in the extruder block seem to need something else…

Fluid oil is the best (sewing machine oil or silicone oil). Ildugur bearings don’t need lubricating. Don’t use grease on the XY axis it’s too thick. Clean and re-oil the XY axis on a regular basis as Oil+dust will make a thick coat blocking the free movement of the axis and induce layer shifts.
