LSD/SD card + blue/white backlight LCD are not functioning:
Brand new out of the box, just mounted.
I rechecked all connections on main board and so (qualities of the weldings on boards, integrity of the cable… everything look fine), unbuilt-rebuilt twice…
The power is coming, the red lights of the endstops are on but the LCD doesn’t light up!..
Can’t spot the problem, anyone, any clues?
I had the same problem and the flat 9+9 cable was broken. Try to check (with a multimeter) if all the pins of the flat cable are connected.
Allright, not being too familiar with electronics, I’ll get the tool and try that…

Actually the problem was that the spacers between the LSD card and the LCD were too long so the contact didn’t work!
So I just had to file them down for it to work…
