I want to build a Epee fencing detector. First of all I need to explain how it should work, U need to know this to understand the problem…
ok u have two fencers (epee) and there are two lights (one red one green) if one fencer touches the other fencer with the tip of the epee, it triggers the light. ok simple but there are double touches so if the two tips are triggerd together both lamps should go on. But there is a limit of time to get double touches:
(This are the Internetional Fening Rules for Epee fencing !!)
- double touches must go on from 0-40 ms (both are triggerd between 0-40ms)
- only single light must go after 50ms ((both are triggerd 50ms after the other)
-> so i have room from 40ms to 50 ms to play with
And there is the Problem I need a timer that blocks the second light at 45ms with a accuracy of [color=#FF0000]at least UNDER[/color] 5 ms —> (45±5) ms
I didn’t found any triggerd timer with that accuracy at acceptable price.

operation temparature 10 Grad C to 30 grad C
