I have problems with the range of the VM118 8-Channel RF Remote Control Set Module.
How can I eg. ad a wire as an external antenna of the transmitter? How long should this wire be? Should there be two wires (bipolare antenna)?

Transmitter circuit is not suited for addition of an antenna.
Did you attach an antenna to the VM118 receiver ?

On the VM118 receiver printboard there is an integrated antenna, as I understand the circuit. Can I replace this on-board antenna with a better external antenna, e.g., a wire? How long should this wire be?
And are you sure its impossible to add an external antenna to the transmitter. I don’t care about warranty-problems.

Not a question of warranty, it is just the nature of the circuit.
Check VM118 board, there is a jumper to select internal or external antenna.
Attach a +/- 30cm wire
