Hello,
I made a voltage divider connected on line voltage, it is made of a 2.5 Mohm, 250Kohm2.5 Mohm series resistors, with the floating voltage taken on the terminal of the 250Kohm resistor and the line voltage connected on either side of the 3 series resistors.
This is connected to the PCS10 K8047 recorder to get a record of my utility line voltage
I have a fluctuating voltage (while in 1 second sampling) with voltage enveloppe of sampling creneaux like a rectified sinusoide but with a variable frequency of over 17 horizontal division, and almost 2 creneaux / bar per division. This does not looks like any line voltage record.
I tried an other way to get an image of the line voltage with getting the secondary of a small transformer (6v AC) to the PCS10, and this is the same display
How could I do to have demonstration or record of the flicker and voltage drop that is polluting my line voltage.
There is steel mill in the border of the town , close to the harbour, and I have already got many electronic equipment, damaged, including electronic board of washing machine burn 3 time over the last 2 years, and 2 PC bords burnt out.
I would like to get a record to deal with my electrical supplier, but what I got out of the K8047 does not looks like any trace of line voltage.
Thank-you for your assistance, on the way to sample the line voltage and select the right sampling rate.
As well Is there any way to trigger automatically the record to catch line perturbation, record only the window with the liner perturbation and time date, on the HDD of the pc .
