Quality looks good

not at all for me now !

i just changed the Hot end to an aluminium chinese hot end + a chineses flex coupler !
and it 's just blowing my mind !

will post pics when i can

Your printer is capable of much better quality.
My current setup is :-

  • E3DV6 hotend
  • 3mm Velleman PLA at 200C
  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • 0.2mm layer height
  • glass bed
  • flexible coupling and lead screw (Velleman kit)
  • LCD display controller (Velleman kit)

The biggest bang for my buck was the flexible coupling and new lead screw - it produced almost perfectly smooth sidewalls on my test cube.
Will post pix of examples from home tonight.

Yep, i have almost the same setup.
Additionally i made the z axis hang down and use now GT2 2mm belts and 16 teeth pulleys on the X and Y axis.

The biggest improvement in Print quality was the E3D V6 Hotend, followed by the leadscrew upgrade for the z axis.
The Hanging z Mount gives better performance on z axis and the GT2 Belts and smaller pulleys heavily improved speed and precision.

cheers
Christian
