In my Edu05 the LEDs respond when I click with the mouse. (Enter)
A short flash in random order.
Is that software to suppress?
Or is this normal ?

When I press any of the buttons on mine it looks like some of the LEDs strobe.
This is normal.
Same I/O pins of the microcontroller are used to drive the LEDs and the LCD module.
This causes the LEDs flashing when the LCD module content is updated.
