on top of the heater block, my fillament squeezes out, what can i do about this?
This should not be… you did maybe not tighten it good enough. The black spring-like O-ring should be nearly flat.
Maybe you can heat the whole part (only the brace) up to about 90°C so that you can loosen the parts and re-assembly.
There are some video instructions about how to un-mount a extruder head on YouTube.
Would be great if on success that you can document it here how you did it.
i cant push the black rng flat, there is to much space in between, i have 4 mm of space
Everything should be tightened as explained in the manual. Please post a picture of the leak.
i fixed it, now it doesnt leak anymore, and thank you flag for giving the link, it really helped a lot for getting it loose
I had the same problem with a gap where the washer is and it was causing a leak in the extruder. I tried to tighten the barrel and nozzle as instructed here, but ended up stripping the threads. When I received the replacement parts, I tightened the nozzle as tight as I could by hand. I then used pliers to compress the barrel and heater block until the washer was nearly flat, then tightened the barrel and nozzle another quarter if a turn. It works great now.
