Just finished the 8400 printer assembly and turning on the printer.
Red lights appear (is this normal ?), green light on the motherboard.
but
The LCD display is keep switching to the “status menu” telling me Err: MINTEMP.
If I push the jogg it is still reaching to this status menu over and over again and connot get into the other menu’s.
Ive been updating the firmware already.
Plz Help

Hmm, I see I uploaded with version; 1.6.2.
Time to change the buildspecs website… I think
I will try that, updating the correct firmware with an older version.

I uploaded the correct Firmware and the vertex is telling me: M: 1.0 V: 1.1 HEADS: 1 in the firmware menu.
I and just loaded PLA filament.
Pushed the button, bed moves, but then nothing hapends…
And, the status menu display keeps telling me Err: MINTEMP…
whats wrong ?
Need a little help, eager to get my first print done of course…
Check the thermistor in the print head.
Make sure the screws are tight.
Remove one of the leads and check the resistance across it.
At room temp you should measure around 100K ohms
There was a small cable loose on the print head…
well; vertex is telling me now: “vertex is ready” 
and telling me tempature is 21
So fingers crossed.
