Latest repetier host version just won't connect

at first I used the same repetier version which was recommended by the get started tutorial and that worked. Now I installed the latest repetier host, the damned thing just won’t connect to my printer. I can connect via that repetier server thing, but I cannot control my printer if I am connected like that. settings are all correct, baudrate at 250000 com 13. Just nothing.

Am I misssing something or do I need to flash new firmware in the printer or must I take my old software back?

Did u uncheck the check box Use ping pong communication … ?

stop server perhaps? on top of the repetier

Check in the printer setting in Repetier.

Correct Com Port
Baud rate 250000
Reset on Connect = Disabled.

I indeed had to manually stop the server. After that I could connect and control my printer, thank you.
