Hi.

Has anyone had a problem with the backlight on the DVM meter on the LAB1 unit. On my unit it flickers when first switched on and then goes dim, it is still readable but it would nice if the backlight worked for obvious reasons. The unit is only 4 months old :cry: and I don’t want to have to send the whole unit back. If there is a fix or a option to replace the DVM module which can be removed to allow access to the fuse on the unit, I would appreciate any assistance.

As your unit is still under warranty, you should send it back.
If you do not feel like sending back the complete unit, unplug the unit, open the bottom cover, unplug the DMM and remove the module.
Please return it with proof of purchase (to qualify for repair under warranty) to:

I experienced the same, I bought the lab two years ago with use from time to time ; now I need it but experience the same problem

Is a spare available for the multimeter module ? how can I get it ?
