Kit fully assembled with no obvious shorts. When I power up transistors 10, 12, 4, 6, 8 get hot. Help me find the short please.
Check the part number of the transistors
4, 10 & 12 part number 8050
6 & 8 part number 8550
It would be a good idea to check all of the transistors for proper part numbers.
Since there are 3 different transistors in this kit.

All transistors in proper place and alignment . I even went so far as to replace the ones that got hot (10, 12) with BC517, a newb act of desperation. Diode in correctly. This on might be ready for the “experience” box.
