Hi,
I’ve a problem with robot arm ksr10: all motors work only in one direction.
If I manually reverse the connectors of battery I can use the other direction.
Can anybody help me?
 Did you get this problem fixed?
Re. your problem, please post if it’s not already solved: could be you’ve got one set of batteries in backwards, or have miswired the battery feed cable from one side.
I need a pdf of the circuit of the robot - I’ve built two and given both away to Science Fair draw winners, with the manuals!
I had to replace all the switches on one of the robots’ controller box, am re-designing a new interface for the 2nd one with both the USB controller and a new manual controller, hopefully quickly interchangeable, but I need the schematic for the original robot. If you’re still reading this forum, please repost and maybe we can connect via email for the schematic?
The switches failed following two days of continuous use by visitors to our Skills Connect booth in Calgary last year. Switch design is poor, has very low reliability due to selection of metal used for bending contact. I have pictures available of the retrofit, after raiding three Radio Shacks (The Source by… ugh! Hate that name!) in Calgary!
