Hello,

I purchased this kit and mounted/soldered everything (two times with two different kit) as instructed but somehow on first step LED never glow.

Can you please help me cause of this problem. What migth be wrong?

Only thing I have not mounted is buzzer. Is buzzer required?

Most likely an assembly error.

Here are 4 pictures. I have attached front and back pictures of both boards.

I am facing problem in insitial instructions. Page 8 step 11.

safter sub sep 3 & 4 (RV adjustments) LED never glow.

Hereby some hints:

Some solderings look poor and might need rework.
Make sure to scrape off the laquer from the winding wire and make sure to thin the wires. Otherwise they will not make an electrical contact.
Winding needs to very tight and neat. Mind the direction.
Make sure ZD1 and D1 are not swapped.
Make sure LED position is correct.

Zd1 and d1 are correct. Verified multiple times.
LED position is correct also.

I will check on soldering and redo some. but with naked eye it does not look that bad. That’s reason I bought second one and did it again.

But can you please give me possible things not right. I do have multi meter and check continuity, voltage and current at various positions.

Like VEL417 said.
It looks like you did not scrap the lacquer coating off of windings before you soldered it.
On kit 2 it looks like the same thing as kit 1 and the windings look like they are backwards.

By sceapping the lacquer coating I was able to make one kit working.

Same mine doesn’t light up too, can someone help me with tht?
