K8600 Menu not responding / showing when pushing the knob

Hello,

I just finished my K8600, it went very well.
However, when pushing the knob no menu is popping up as expected (I also have the K8400, which is working well).

The menu screen keeps on showing the basic values and when I turn the knob, some value only changes.

Is the motherboard defect? Can I check it somehow?

Check the knob.
Make sure it’s not rubbing on the frame and staying pushed in.

I removed the knob itself, so it cannot touch the frame, but the issue remains
