K8403 Red LED not working

Hello.
I have just installed the LED-kit K8403 on my K8400, Blue and Green is working but Red does not work(and of course the color that depends on Red).

This is a simple installation so not much that could have gone wrong.

What should I do?

Hi,
have you swapped wires to see if it is the LED itself or the connection on the little board?

As you said, there is not much to be done wrong

Best
Frank

Thanks for the reply, i will make that test later today, I am in the middle of a print now.
I will get back here when that test is done.

I have now tested to switch the cable from red to blue and blue to red but still no red.

Does anyone from Velleman read this or how should i proceed with this issue?

that means, if you switch the RED LED wire to BLUE connector, the RED LED is illuminating… but the BLUE LED on the RED connect not?

That seems to be an issue for the support of velleman

I do not have the address on hand, but it is an easy task, they provide spare parts within a week if they agree on replacement
Did it a few times during print building.

No, that means that it does not matter what connection i make, Red will never light up.

I will make a ticket at Velleman then, thanks.

Ok, got it

have you checked the connection.
I got the IKEA LEDs here and if I am not mistaken, they are absolutely identical, since the little coding on the single wire is identical.
So, from this, my question is, did you check each single line of LEDs to connect to the PSU?
Maybe one of those are defect (which makes no difference, since it is not working properly)

Are the pins not damaged…

Well on the other hand, it will be replaced by Velleman, so it is just a question of time you will get replacement.

Best and good luck
Frank

Sorry for your inconvenience, starting a support ticket is indeed the fastest way to get this issue resolved.
