K8400 PLA+ and flexible filaments?

Hi eveyone,

I just have a question.
Can i print with my k8400 PLA+ because it seems so nice to use it ?
And can i print with flexible filaments to ?

Ty and cya.

Yeah you can use PLA+ , as for flexible it’s not recommended due to the bowden extruder setup.
You can try printing reaaaaallly slow. But even then…

I print with Velleman Flex. First, problems with stopping the filament in the extruder. Also after adjusting the speeds and retreating. My solution was to Re-design the extruder. The speed is a 80% versus PLA and no retreat.

Got pictures of your redesign? Would love to see it

Hi
I have no problems sharing,… But if I have a problem with the firmware where we going back to the past, then I hear nothing from you. I am talking about the people of Velleman. Look to the Firmware 1.4, please. It is unstable!!!

This problem I encountered when printing Flex: Look at how the filament is taken with the gripping wheel.

The most important thing is that the flex filament is well supported when extruding. Here my design where I have been able to reuse all the pieces of Vertex.

is it possible to use 1,75 mm filament with Velleman K 8200 ? Thanks.

You would need to install the K8203 and K8204
