Has anyone tried the newer Marlin Firmware?
If you have how is your experience with it?

Hi Postkassi, and all.
I took the configuration.h and configuration_adv.h from another marlin project, and read and typed the settings into marlin 2.1.2 configuration files.
Compiling takes much longer but I uploaded to my K8400 anyway.
Then I figured out the stepper rate needed lowering a bit because of missing steps, and I had to lower max z feedrate to 4mm/s because of printhead crashing into bed at beginning of print what turned out was also missing steps prior when lifting the printhead.
Now I am on Marlin 2.1.2 on my K8400 !
The manual bed leveling with feeler gauge what is now possible is great for first layer!
