I have removed the Hotend Nozzle from the printer for cleaning, un-jamming. I notice that the diameter of the hole on the threaded end of the Nozzle is smaller then the 1.75 filament. I did not notice this when I was building the printer as I had not yet purchased any PLA. Is this small hole normal?
If this is normal then this flat face with a small hole is the melting interface between the filament and the Nozzle. Would this be typical for filament 3d printers such as the earlier Velleman printer? Would reaming this hole a bit help prevent clogging?
Thanks
Don
