Ive been trying to update the firmware, following GT2 belt changeover in X and Y
And i have extended the range in Z to 370mm.
Ive looked at the site for the adruino software but cant find the loader program
Ive downloaded all the windows reference files and none will run
Im sure I’m doing something daft but just can’t work it out
My OS is Windows7 64 bit and i run slicer and simplify3d on it, it is only used to run the printer on.
All the programs i downloaded are not recognised by windows as a program…
Help please…
you need the Arduino IDE to compile and upload the Firmware.
look here : http://arduino.cc/download.php?f=/arduino-1.5.8-windows.exe
To upload the firmware to your board you need to set the programming jumper on the board to closed.
(Look in the Velleman description, there is a picture which pins to short for programming)

just let me know if you have further questions

Thankyou,
I downloaded the first file and my computer automatically renames it and it wont run, that was the problem.
BUT …
I downloaded the .zip file, extracted it and it runs
Im happy again
Thankyou
you’re welcome!
How did you do that?
Do you have a source for extrude aluminum parts like the stock frame is built from?
I want to make mine “bigger” as well.
Thank you very much, that was exactly what i was searching for!
