Dear All,
I am in charge with fixing a K8200 printer which was not assembled by me. I believe the communication between K8200 Repetier Host and the PC is the problem (or the firmware in the 3D printer) because Repetier Host does not communicate with the printer. Sometimes it responds to the commands but totally abnormal.
Please tell me where should I start this communication debugging and what should I check first.
Thank you very much.

Do you know if the builder of the printer changed the firmware?
If so, it is likely he build it with an Arduino version higher than 1.0.6.
That mosttimes leads to malfunction.
Try recompiling/reflashing the firmware with Arduino 1.0.6.
The 1.5.x or 1.6.x Versions do NOT work!
cheers,
Christian
Thank you very much Christian.
I tried to upload the new firmware but I have the error from the attached image: dropbox.com/s/fe9zed1tqgi64 … s.png?dl=0
What do you think?
Thanks,
Sorin
Also the JPROG jumper is shorted.
It works ! The firmware and the power supply were the problems.
Thanks!
