Hello,
I put together the k8098 audio analyzer, and when i plug it in, the only thing that happens is that the backlight of the display lights up, nothing else. Can somebody give guidance for troubleshooting? Is there a hi-res photo of the back of the PCB so that I can check my work for inadvertent solder bridges?

Most likely an assembly problem.
Make sure PIC is correctly inserted.
Check if +5V arrives on PIC.
