K8097 and the use of 4-fase motors

Dear Sir / Madam,
I bought a stepper motor card K8097 together with a Mots1 and Mots 2 motor (4 fase motors).
I opened the package. In the booklet was stated it is possible to use a Mots 3 motor (2 fase motor).
Therefore the question:

Is it possible to use the Mots1 and Mots2 step motors with the K8097 kit?
If is is possible:

  • do I need some additional electronics? and
  • how to implement the 4 fase motors?

Is it possible to increase the power of the load? If yes - what circuit solutions (connected to the motor connector on the motherboard) can you recommend?
