just done it, they are playing. But i noticed that vista adds “album art”, to the folder, which is and stays invisible, should that prevent the k 8095 to search and open the folders

whatever, i’m still satisfied with the kit, recently i bought an other full portable MP 3 kit with integrated amp, but don’t worry it is absolutely no concurrention for the velleman kit. Just curious now: is it possible to connect a usb port…

i’m waiting, while busy with new releases, is it possible to create a suitable housing for the current one, because the place of the buttons makes it difficult to make one myself ? I made a housing, but it’s not so handy to use the preset buttons.
At the moment the “best fit” housing for the K8095 is this:
velleman.eu/distributor/prod … /?id=60941
Indeed, the preset buttons are still the problem…
is it possible to create a suitable housing for the current one
Sorry - no plans at the moment to make a special housing for this kit.

Indeed, the preset buttons are still the problem… I propose to separate the button board from the rest which can make it also easier to make a housing for it thanks to the extra flexibility you gain with doing this. I call this a win win situation because you solve 2 problems at once!

if i can be from any service… (lol)
I’m wondering how fast this kit is, ie. in skipping songs, starting up etcetera.
The K8095 is quite fast.
Button press response is nearly immediate.
you could be surprised, but remember, it’s a fine kit, giving a good sound (when using correct speakers, off course), but further, it is not an i pod, if you expect such a response quality, it’s just a robust basic kit if i may call it so…
