First, you must check if the power section is OK.
Check between ground level and pin 20 if the PIC controller, if you measure around 3,3V.
Thanks,
The reading is right 3.3 V on pin 20 of the PIC .
Next you can check that the SD card insert detection switch is operating correctly.
Check the voltage on pin 5 of IC3.
There should be 0V when the SD card is inserted and 3.3V when the card is ejected.
It shows 3.3 V in both . SD inserted or out .
As of the previous Step , PIC do you mean IC3?
Please check this soldering.
Please make sure you have soldered the SD card connector shield to the soldering pads.

Hi,
Soldering was OK , but as I understood that when Inserting the SD , SD card connector shield will be connected to ground so it will drop to zero , I found a mechanical problem while insertion the SD .
Fixed and Now it is working fine.
Thanks for your support .
Hi, my voltage on pin five is reading 3.3 with the card in and 0 with it out, my lcd screen has black rectangles when i turn up rv1 all the way, but thats all
The SD card detection seems to work OK.
What happens if you put some MP3 files on the SD card, insert it, and then press the Play button SW1 ?
The line of black rectangles blink, the the first rectangle blinks. Also LD2 is now on
Is the LD1 off all the time - even if you press the SW1 several times?
Does the LD2 turn of if you press SW6 ?
No to both of those
Yes LD1 is off no matter what, LD2 is on no matter what
Sorry,* if i press sw1 several times LD2 blinks
All the results indicate that the kit is defective.
After checking all the components and all the soldering - if everything seems to be OK - then the only choice is to send the kit for check/repair.
How could i go about doing that
Please return kit to:
